Guillaume Lachance Gotzmann
Guillaume Lachance Gotzmann began his career as Director of Business Development and Legal Counsel at TransferTech Sherbrooke (TTS), the University of Sherbrooke's technology transfer affiliate. His drive to commercialize university technologies for public benefit showcases his dynamic and effective leadership. Guillaume subsequently invested in and became CEO of a university-based startup, Dekko Technologies, which specialized in acoustic microscopy for microelectronics. At its peak, Dekko relied on a highly specialized team of ten technology development engineers.
Following this entrepreneurial experience, Guillaume acquired and became CEO of Estampage JPL Ltée, a manufacturing company specializing in metal transformation located in the Trois-Rivières region. Under his leadership, the company doubled its sales and tripled its profits, ultimately growing to more than 45 full-time employees. Guillaume sold his shares in Estampage JPL in January 2024 and has since focused on structuring business acquisition opportunities and supporting various technological companies in their growth strategies.
Ariel Thibault
Ariel Thibault draws from his multidisciplinary background in law, communications, and management to provide SAVI’s team with a unique blend of creativity, entrepreneurship, and legal acumen. Beginning his career as a civil and commercial litigation lawyer, Ariel founded his own law firm in 2016. During this time, he pleaded before most of Quebec's courts of first instance and helped entrepreneurs resolve complex issues. Concurrently, he served as external legal and strategic advisor for Tribu Expérientiel, a major action sports events firm.
​In recent years, Ariel established and supervised a pilot project at the University of Montreal’s Legal Clinic, which, for the first time eve[HB1] r, authorized law students to provide legal advice to Quebec residents. Ariel then held a managerial position at Quebec's largest legal information organization, where he managed a team of ten researchers and trainers. Since joining SAVI, Ariel has supported clients with their needs in strategic planning, contract drafting, legal counsel, and business development.
Hugh Braby-Jones
Hugh Brabyn-Jones is currently a law student at the University of Sherbrooke, where he is completing his third year of bachelor's studies. Hugh aspires to become a lawyer specializing in business and contract law. He also has a particular interest in intellectual property, which makes his collaboration with SAVI a natural fit.

​Having previously completed a bachelor's degree in neuroscience, Hugh brings significant scientific knowledge in addition to his legal expertise. His time in neuroscience allowed him to develop a passion for the workings of the nervous system. ​
In his free time, Hugh stays active by playing hockey and engaging in various outdoor sports activities. He is also creative, occasionally working on writing and music projects.
Josiane Bourque
Josiane Bourque earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Data Science and has since worked as head of research and development within startups and small businesses.

She recently joined SAVI and, through her expertise in experimental data analysis, she supports clients in their decision-making related to technological development. Additionally, Josiane contributes to building grant strategies for technological development and other commercial activities.
